The structure of our buildings is manufactured in compliance with a full BBA certificate (Agrément Certificate No 06/4312). This approval means our very specific SIPs system, which makes up the floors, roofs and walls of Studioni Rooms, has passed thorough tests for strength, stiffness, fire resistance, thermal performance, air permeability, sound insulation, weather-tightness and durability. This allows us to show fully validated u-values and market our buildings as suitable for habitation, rather like a new build home. The same technology is now being used to build sustainable housing and has passed the 60 year durability test.
So our various structures are available as free-standing garden rooms, larger buildings and extensions to existing properties and have a solid life expectancy, in addition to the advantage of their rapid build time. In addition, our approved installation teams must meet specific criteria. In England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland we use time-served, qualified tradesmen on site who have extensive experience in SIPs installations, in both house construction and garden building installation. In Northern Ireland we also use longstanding Guild of Master Craftsmen registered tradesmen alongside our experienced installers.
