Accepting Brilliant Garden Office Design.
This Studioni customer file is a large one: planning, design and finishing details were carefully thought through and decided well in advance of groundworks. The ground survey report on the stability of the London clay, the structural engineering, glazing specifics, deck size, cladding board size and orientation had to be spot on.
This garden room was to sit snugly into a corner of a manicured garden in London. It would require the partial removal of a lovingly clipped hedge by the regular gardener in preparation for the groundworks. It’s full height glazed gable would reflect the clean contemporary lines of the main house, itself a feature on a well known architectural website.
This project was a delight to manage, largely thanks to the exacting expectations of the client and their co-operation and ease with our team on site. With quality of work a number one priority, our project manager was both inspired by the design, the environment and singularly focused to ensure that the client was entirely satisfied with the standard of work represented in his new garden office.
The fresh design and overall cost were the winning factors for this project. Even though the client had hosted other companies and run through their quotation systems, he was reassured by our experience with various groundwork scenarios and professional competance around our craft.
The glazed gable and slim side glazed units lend themselves to a nicely balanced room. This exact design has only been created by us in photoshop before so to see it come to life was exciting and fulfilling for our designer and our tradesmen on site. This particular garden room boasts 150mm BBA approved sips panels which give an independently verified u-value of 0.17 (Wm–2K–1). Calculated in accordance with BS EN ISO 6946 : 1997 and BRE report (BR 443 : 2006). With our glazed units offering an excellent 1.1(Wm–2K–1) - which exceeds building regulations - this new music room will remain ambient and comfortable throughout the seasons.
